Who we are
The QUARTILES Doctoral Landscape Award is a partnership between the University of Aberdeen and Queen’s University Belfast, in collaboration with two UKRI Research Councils: Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) and Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC). We fund PhD students to undertake research in environmental management disciplines.

Who we share your data with

If you apply for a QUARTILES DLA PhD position, the personal data included in your application will be processed by our administrative team and shared with the host institution (University of Aberdeen or Queen’s University Belfast) if required e.g. to accurately determine your fee status category. It will also be shared with the PhD supervisory team through the processes of reviewing, shortlisting, selecting and interviewing applicants.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. The commenting capability of this website has been disabled but may be reinstated in future.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile.
